Real Madrid remained third in La Liga after a 3-2 home win over Huesca on Sunday evening. They had a struggle to win that game against the team bottom of the table going behind early in the game and eventually needing an 89th minute goal to get the win. That made it three wins in a row since they appointed their new manager but the best they can hope for this season is second in La Liga and they trail Atletico Madrid by two points. Real are unbeaten in their last seven away league games, winning the last five of them. You don't often get to see a low-scoring game when Real come to visit and nine of their last ten away league games have had over 2.5 goals scored in them.

Valencia are sixth in the table, enough to get them into the Europa League next season. However, they are only three points adrift of the final Champions League position. The weekend saw them win away at Sevilla moving them up into sixth position. They are unbeaten in their last 16 league and cup games, a run that has also taken them into the quarter-finals of the Europa League. Home form has seen them unbeaten in their last nine league games with only one loss in the last 17.
