Utrecht will play host to the defending champions Feyenoord in the Eredivisie this Sunday. The hosts are down in 16th place, while the visitors are in sixth after three matches. Utrecht come into this match off the back of a 1-0 loss to PEC Zwolle last weekend. That extended their losing streak to three consecutive matches, and they are one of just four clubs that are yet to earn a point this season. Last season, UTR managed a seventh-placed finish for the second consecutive season. They recorded 54 points in the campaign and finished 28 points behind their opponents in this match. The hosts are also on a five-match losing streak in the Eredivisie either side of the break and have failed to beat Feyenoord in their last three attempts.

Meanwhile, after winning the title by a seven-point margin last season, Feyenoord have made a stuttering start this campaign. They played out a goalless draw against Fortuna Sittard on the opening weekend and followed up with a 2-2 draw away to Sparta Rotterdam a week later. The champions eventually got their first win of the season, beating Almere City 6-1 last weekend. They are still unbeaten in the league though dropping points in the first two matches is not ideal. Feyenoord had the league's best away record last season, with 42 points taken from a possible 51. They only lost once in 17 away matches all season but were held to a 1-1 draw at this venue. Still, with their opponents looking off-colour so far, the visitors are the clear favourites in this match.
