Ukraine vs North Macedonia Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Ukraine and North Macedonia will face off in Group C of the European Championship Qualifiers on Saturday afternoon. While England look increasingly likely to secure the top spot in the group, behind them, the race is heating up. Italy (2nd), Ukraine (3rd), and North Macedonia (4th) are all on seven points each and separated by goal difference. Malta cannot qualify, having failed to record a single point as yet. Ukraine were pushed out of second place in the group last month when they lost their last match 2-1 to Italy. They have now won two, drawn one, and lost two of their five matches and have also played a match more than the Italians. The Blue and Yellow have lost two of their three away games in this competition. However, the one match that they did win came against this opposition back in June. The hosts narrowly missed out on a playoff spot after being held to a draw against Scotland in their final match in the Nations League. As a result, Scotland clinched the top spot in League B Group 1. Ukraine will play Malta next week before what could be a deciding match against Italy next month. 

Meanwhile, North Macedonia bounced back very well from a crushing 7-0 loss to England back in June. In their two matches last month, they secured a very handy point against Italy before overcoming Malta 2-0 a few days later. As a result, they have pulled themselves back in contention for a qualification place, though they have a tough run of fixtures from here. The Lynxes will head to Italy in their penultimate match before returning home to face England in their final group fixture. The visitors have won one and lost two of their three away games in this competition. They also only managed one away win during their Nations League campaign. While the visitors did lose the last match against this opponent, they do carry proper attacking threat, and if they can get an early goal here, an upset could be on the cards.
