The African Nations Championship co-hosts Uganda will be back on the pitch for their third match on Monday. Sitting second, Uganda are set to take on Niger, the bottom-placed team in Group C. Let’s have look at the prediction for this game.

Uganda recovered from their disappointing opener, by beating Guinea 3-0 on matchday two. After falling to Algeria 3-0 in the first round of matches, the Cranes returned with much better resolve and made light work of Guinea.

That win moved them to second in the standings, on four points, one below Algeria. This being their seventh consecutive appearance, Uganda will be keen on finally reaching the knockouts.

Niger are making their fifth appearance at Chan. They’ve hit highs that they’ll be looking to better here. in the last edition in Algeria, Niger finished fourth, the highest they’ve ever managed in the four earlier appearances.

In their opening match this term, they suffered a 1-0 loss to Guinea, raising fears they may suffer a group stage exit for the third time.

With matches against Algeria and South Africa still to come, Niger may be hard pressed to claim three points against this particular opponent. Unfortunately, they are winless in the last three meetings with Uganda, and they failed to score in two of the three.
