AC Milan have the chance to stay in the top four when they travel to Udinese on Saturday in round 27 of the Italian Serie A. Milan are fourth in the standings with 48 points, just one point above fifth place while Udinese are further down in 10th with 35 points. Udinese have struggled with consistency for the better part of the season and arrive at this round having won just twice in the league since last October. They beat Empoli 1-0 away from home last time out to end a run of six matches without a win. Andrea Sottil’s men are now unbeaten in their last three having drawn with Atalanta and Spezia which is also the longest they have gone without a loss this year.

AC Milan have turned their season around after winning just one of their opening eight matches of the year across all competitions. Stefano Pioli’s men have lost just once in their last seven matches since that woeful run with four of those matches ending in victory. They have also progressed to the quarterfinals of the Champions League but are without a win in their last three matches and could find the going tough against a Udinese team that has frustrated its opponents while playing at home.
