Torino and Parma will square off for their first match of 2024, a Serie A encounter this Sunday. Going into the match, two points separate the two sides, with Torino on 20 in 11th place while Parma are placed 14th. Read below for our preview and prediction of this match.

The end of 2024 left a mixed bag at Torino. At least they avoided defeat after coming from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 away to Udinese.

Paolo Vinoli wasn’t so enthusiastic about the result but maybe he’d be out of the job had his charges lost. He’s left with just a win in the last nine matches while the hoists have three losses in four home games.

Parma finished the past in much more positive circumstances. Lautaro Valenti scored a late winner against Monza to secure a 2-1 victory. That win opened up a four-point gap between them and the relegation zone.

As far as their ambition to stay up is concerned, Parma are doing superbly. They will feel this is another winnable game, and it presents them a chance to do well away from home.

In their last two matches, Parma conceded eight goals and could only score once. Looking at the opposition though, Parma can’t be faulted a lot. They faced Inter Milan and Roma losing 3-1 and 5-0 respectively.
