Two teams separated by just one point and lurking just outside the top ten in Serie A will be on view in matchday 24 as Torino hosts Genoa on Saturday. This match on Saturday between the 11th-placed II Toro and the 12th-placed Il Grifone at the Olympic Grande Torino Stadium comes with our prediction of under 2.5 goals.

Torino have 27 points and is two behind the tenth-placed Udinese, while Genoa are right behind them with 26 points. Torino held Atalanta to a 1-1 draw last weekend, extending their unbeaten run to six matches. Five of those are draws, while they lost just once across their last nine Serie A matches.

Home form has seen some improvement in recent matches, as Torino have won five points from their last three home matchdays. Genoa drew 0-0 when these sides met earlier in the season last December, but recent form hasn’t been encouraging.

The visitors lost 2-1 at Fiorentina last week, which was their second defeat in the last three matches. They have struggled on the road as well, as losses at Roma and Fiorentina in their last two away matches suggest. However, a run of three wins and two draws in five home matches before these losses means Genoa can’t be ruled out easily.
