A tough match awaits the winner of this Europa Conference League third qualifying round match. Trabzonspor host Molde in the first leg with the winners taking on AS Roma in the play-off round. The Turkish side finished fourth in the Super Lig last season but were 11 points adrift of third place. They lost six home league games but ended the season with three straight wins. Trabzonspor are back in Europe for the first time since the 2019/20 season when making it to the Europa League group stages. Molde played Servette in the last qualifying round of this competition. They won the home leg 3-0 but had to hang on in the away leg, losing 2-0 to the Swiss side. They currently top the Norwegian league by five points after 14 matches but have no wins in their last two away league games. Last season saw them reach the last 16 of the Europa League, eventually losing to Granada. Away form in Europe isn't good though with only one win in four. Trabzonspor can get a narrow win here but will find the away leg difficult.
