Tottenham vs Wolves Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

It has been a shaky season so far for Tottenham Hotspur and coming from two straight losses, they will hope for recovery when they host Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League. The two go to the game separated by just a point; Spurs on 40 points and in sixth place while Wolves have 39 points, in eighth place. Spurs were outclassed by Chelsea in their last match and earlier by Leipzig in the Champions League, making it four matches without a clean sheet for the North Londoners. They have conceded twice in three of their last four matches but have failed to score in just one of their last seven matches. Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are still injured and it has shown in the last two matches, where the team’s only goal was scored by an opponent – Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger. They however have four wins in their last five home matches, though with just one clean sheet in the five and have back to back home wins in the league. Tottenham have scored at least two goals in four of their last five home matches and three of the five home games have ended in over 2.5 goals. They are on the chase for a top four place and with three wins in the last four Premier League matches, they will feel they are well capable of downing Wolves, as they did in the first leg, and in two of the last three meetings.

Wolves are tricky opponents and this season they have proven they can match the mightiest in the league. They will be gunning for a win here as they also harbor top four ambitions. They are coming from a 3-2 loss to Espanyol in the Europa League, but they had already finished the job in the first leg, with a 4-0 win. In the last seven meetings with Spurs, they have won just once while Tottenham have won four. Each of the last three meetings, and five of the last seven have ended in over 2.5 goals and both sides have scored in six of the last seven meetings. In their last three matches, Wolves have scored nine goals and conceded three. They have three straight clean sheets in the Premier League and head here with three of their last five matches having produced over 2.5 goals. Wolves have one clean sheet in the last five league matches away from home and have conceded two or more in two of the five away matches.
