Tottenham vs Watford Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

The chances of Tottenham winning a trophy this season have diminished grreatly in the past few days. They have exited both the Carabao and FA Cup competitions in the space of four days and  now return to the Premier League, nine points off top space. The absence of key players has hit Tottenham who still haven't signed anyone in this or the last transfer window. Three of their last four games have been lost and one more bad result in the Premier League will surely end any slim hopes they have of winning the title. Their impressive home form is slipping too with losses to Wolves and Manchester United in the last three games at Wembley. 

Watford are up to seventh in the Premier League though such is the dominance of those above them, that's 11 points behind sixth placed Manchester United. They are unbeaten in their last six league and cup games, though two have been against Newcastle, one against non-league Woking and none against any team higher than 12th in the Premier League. Two of their last three away league games have been won with victories over West Ham and Crystal Palace. It's a hard game to call and the tip here is for over 2.5 goals to be scored.
