Tottenham vs Red Star Belgrade Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

This is a vital game for both these teams in Champions League Group B. Red Star are second in the group, two points ahead of third-placed Tottenham. The English side reached the final last year but as was the case last season are having problems in their group. A 2-0 lead at Olympiacos ended in a 2-2 draw and then came the horror of the 7-2 home loss to Bayern. A defeat here would see them fall five points behind Red Star and looking at trying to qualify for the Europa League. Their poor recent form continued at the weekend with a 1-1 home draw against Watford. They have just one win in their last seven games in all competitions. Only one of their last six games in the Champions League have been won and the last two played at home have both been lost.

Red Star Belgrade are second in the group behind Bayern Munich who have won both their games. They kicked off with a 3-0 away defeat in Germany but bounced back with a 3-1 home victory over Olympiacos. They went a goal down against the Greeks and it was still 1-1 going into the 87th minute. Red Star have won their last six league and cup games.  They are four points clear at the top of the Serbian league and have a game in hand. Away form in the Champions League isn't impressive with just one win in the last eight played. It's a game Spurs should win, though the reverse fixture will be a lot harder. Trusting Tottenham isn't easy at the moment, a bet on both teams to score looks the safest way to get a win.
