Tottenham vs PSV Eindhoven Prediction & Betting Tips - Champions League

Looking at their fixture list, Tottenham would have expected a lot more than one point from their first three games in this Champions League group. Even worse, they led against both Inter and PSV but still only managed a point. Coming into this game they are third in the group, five points behind Inter and six adrift of Barcelona. Tottenham have to get a win in this game and then beat Inter at home in the following fixture. They'll have an eye on what happens in Milan as the last thing they need is Inter to get points against Barcelona. Spurs conceded an 87th minute to be denied victory at PSV and were a goal up at Inter with four minutes to go only to lose 2-1, so it's been a group of missed opportunities. They have gone five Champions League games without a win and at home had won four in a row before defeats by Juventus and Barcelona.

PSV aren't in that kind of company and are bottom of the group on one point. Just like Tottenham, they have led in two of their three games but are still looking for their first victory in the group. They top the Dutch league but life in the Champions League is a lot tougher. Their only wins in the last 13 Champions League were against BATE in the play-off round this season. Away from home, PSV have just one win in their last ten matches and haven't won any of their eight away games against English sides in the Champions League. Tottenham desperately need the win and the tip is for them to get three vital points but will still be in a struggle to get into the last sixteen.
