Tottenham Hotspur are enjoying a fine run and will be hoping to extend that when they face Ludogorets in Group J of the Europa League. The two sides are on opposite ends in the group, with Spurs on six points and Ludogorets without a point from the three matches so far. Goals from Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Giovani Lo Celso settled the match in the away clash and another such result will for sure guarantee the London side a place in the second round. The team has already played 16 matches this season and coming from an impressive win over Manchester City and will be well psyched for this one. In the 16 matches played so far, they have won 11 and lost two, and heading to this game they have two clean sheets from the last two matches. It is the second time this season that they have two straight clean sheets and will be hoping for a third one here. Spurs will have the favorites’ feel for this game, having scored in 14 of their last 16 matches and are unbeaten in seven straight home games. They have scored two goals or more in the last five home matches and have a total of 17 goals in the last five home matches. Spurs’ run in the Europa League is also impressive, with the last seven matches serving five wins and one loss. However, it hasn’t been very good defensively for the side, with just one clean sheet recorded in the last 10 Europa League matches. Ludogorets, on the other hand, go to this game straight from a 3-0 win over CSKA Sofia, recovering from their 3-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur. The win presented the second clean sheet for Ludogorets in their last seven matches but they have scored in each of their last 12 matches. They have also scored in each of their last 13 away matches and looking at Spurs’ defensively, the visitors are very likely to get on the score sheet here. It is however not very rosy for Ludogorets in the Europa League, with the team having lost five of their last six matches in the competition. They have conceded two or more goals in five of their last six Europa League matches and have one clean sheet in their last 10 Europa League matches. With one win in their last five away matches in this competition, odds will be stacked against them heavily as they head to London. A bright spark though, will be in attacker Elvis Manu’s form, the striker having scored four goals in the last two away matches in the Europa League.
