Four points from two league games is a good return for Tottenham. It's even better when you consider the fact one of those games was away to Manchester City. Spurs took on Aston Villa in their opening Premier League fixture and conceded an early goal and were still 1-0 down with 17 minutes remaining. New signing Ndombele equalized and then two goals from Harry Kane saw them to a 3-1 win. That was followed by the trip to the Etihad and again they had to come from behind. Tottenham trailed 1-0 and 2-1 but ended the game with a draw after a late City 'goal' was disallowed by VAR. It's a good start though for Tottenham and they have only lost one of their six home league games at their new ground.

Newcastle United are yet to earn a point in the Premier League this season. They lost their opening league game to Arsenal which was an expected result. The second game of the season saw them lose 3-1 at newly promoted Norwich City and that wasn't to be expected. That's only one win in their last five league games and with their next away game being against Liverpool, Newcastle are again making their usual slow start to the season. Away from home, they have only had two league wins in 2019 and one of those was at Fulham who were relegated last season. Their away form against Tottenham has seen them win one of the last four with the last two both lost 1-0. The tip here is for a Tottenham home win with them leading at both half and full time.
