Tottenham extended their unbeaten run to ten games with a draw away to Real Madrid. They had won five straight league and cup games before that result in midweek and perhaps the most important were their wins at Wembley against Barnsley and Bournemouth. There have been three clean sheets in the last four games but they face a Liverpool side that put seven past Maribor in midweek. If Harry Kane continues his excellent form with eight goals in his last five games then they are in with a great chance of winning this game and that would end a run of ten games without a win against their opponents. Liverpool are down in eighth, five places and four points behind their opponents but already nine points behind league leaders Manchester City. Liverpool have at least kept two straight clean sheets after a run of conceding in seven games in a row. Away league form has seen just the one win at Leicester, two draws and that 5-0 loss at Manchester City. They have conceded 11 away goals so far this season and no team has conceded more in the Premier League. With that defence having to face the power of Spurs this week they could be in for a tough time. Go for a home win in this game.
