Tottenham fans were cheering on Wednesday after a 1-0 home win over Newcastle United secured them a top four finish and another season in the Champions League. The win ended a run of four points from four games that had put them in risk of dropping out of the top four. Home form got them there in the end though and the win over Newcastle was their sixth in the last seven, the other being a home defeat to Manchester City. They have only lost two home league games all season, so much for the Wembley Hoodoo, though they did get knocked out of three cup competitons there.

These two sides met at the end of last season with Tottenham winning 6-1 away. Leicester had been going through a bad patch with a run of five games without a win before beating ten-men Arsenal at home on Wednesday. Away form has been poor though with six defeats in their last nine league games. They did beat Tottenham at home earlier in the season during that period when Tottenham couldn't buy a win and saw their title hopes end. A home win for Tottenham is the suggested bet here.
