Tottenham have made a shaky start to their new season. After finishing third last season and reaching the final of the Champions League, they'd have been expecting a better start than five points from four league matches. The season began with them going a goal down to Aston Villa but two goals from Harry Kane helped them to a 3-1 home win. A 2-2 draw at champions Manchester City continued their good start to the season but then it started to go a bit downhill. They surprisingly lost 1-0 at home to Newcastle United and then a 2-2 draw at Arsenal, despite leading 2-0 in the first half. Tottenham have won five and drawn one of their last six home league games against Crystal Palace without scoring.

Not a great record for Palace, but they had an equally poor one against Manchester United but still won at Old Trafford. Palace often make a slow start to the season but not this term. They have won two, drawn one and lost one and are fourth in the table. They only lead Spurs by two points though so will drop below them if losing this match. Palace followed up their win at Manchester United with a 1-0 home win over Aston Villa. This is tougher and the suggested bet is on both teams to score.
