Third in the Premier League and in the last sixteen of the Champions League isn't a bad return for a club that didn't sign any players during the summer. They have only lost one of their last ten league and cup games, though it was a painful one for their fans as it was away to Arsenal. Home form has produced five wins in the last six with the only loss being at home to Manchester City. Tottenham are unbeaten in their last eight games against Burnley and haven't suffered a home defeat to them since 1983.

Burnley have had an up and down season, though mainly down. They are 17th in the table, one place and two points above the relegation zone and have a tough fixture list over the next few weeks with this game being followed by matches against Arsenal, Everton and West Ham. Burnley won 1-0 at home to Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend ending a run of eight games without a win. Away results in the Premier League have been dreadful this season with only one win at Cardiff City with just five points from eight. Tottenham have all the momentum and can win this game leading at both half and full time.
