Toronto and Orlando City have had mixed results lately but both will target three points on offer when they face off at the BMO Field in Ontario on Sunday. Hosts Toronto are still bottom of the Eastern Conference with eight points while Orlando City are second in the same conference with 21 points. Heading to this game, Toronto are coming from morale-boosting result – a 3-2 away win over the league leaders, New England. That victory seemed like a favor to second placed Orlando, who have played a game less and are three points below the leaders, with a better goal difference. Toronto will hope to get a third victory of the season here, which may see them rise from the bottom of the conference so an end to end clash is expected in Ontario. The hosts have one win and six losses in the last eight matches but their attack has been impressive, the team failing to score in just three of their last 10 matches. In three of their last five matches, they’ve managed two goals or more, but they’ve conceded two or more in each of them, producing over 2.5 goals in four of five.

Orlando City beat Toronto 3-2 less than a month ago, and they will be eyeing the same as they target going top of the Eastern Conference. They face a team that also has ambition to rise, but this is not a game that has troubled Orlando City in the recent meetings; having three wins and only one loss in the last five. In the last eight meetings between the two, Orlando have failed to score in one, a 2-0 defeat. They are however coming to this game on the back of two straight losses, to New York Red Bulls and Chicago Fire, and are under pressure from at least three teams below them. Orlando City have one clean sheet in their last five matches and each of the five matches have produced over 2.5 goals.
