Tomas Martin Etcheverry vs Jurij Rodionov Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Kitzbuhel Open

Tomas Martin Etcheverry is seeded fourth in the outdoor clay court Kitzbühel Open. He is struggling for wins though and faces qualifier Jurij Rodionov in round one. After six straight losses, our prediction is Rodionov  (who has never lost to Etcheverry on clay) will win a set.

The winner will be up against either fifth seed Ignacio Buse or unseeded Adolfo Daniel Vallejo in the last eight.

Tomas Martin Etcheverry won the Rio ATP Tour clay court title earlier this year and was a semi-finalist in Buenos Aires. He has been struggling recently though and last week lost in round two in Umag to eventual champion Daniel Merida.

He has now lost his last six matches on all surfaces. Only one of his last six clay court matches has been won.

Jurij Rodionov is down at 145th in the latest rankings, 114 places below Etcheverry. He has won two of his three previous meetings with his opponent, both of his wins coming on clay. This is their first match since 2023.

Rodionov has won 12 of his 20 clay court matches this year, reaching three Challenger Tour finals. He won two qualifying matches in straight sets to reach this main draw. A straight sets victory over Joel Schwaerzler took him past round one of an ATP Tour event for the first time in 2026.
