TNT and Converge meet in the 2026 PBA Governors' Cup Group A clash at Ninoy Aquino Stadium. Tropa, winless in their last two outings, are on the back foot against a Converge side that has won three of its four games in the competition and boasts one of the best offenses in the competition so far, hence our prediction in favor of the FiberXers. 

TNT Tropang 5G are enduring a tough start to their 2026 PBA Governors' Cup campaign. After escaping with a narrow three-point victory against lowly-rated tournament guest Macau Black Bears in the opening round, Tropa have dropped their next two games, including a 111–106 overtime defeat to Terrafirma Dyip at the weekend. 

The prospects are still not looking good for Chot Reyes' side. They are without several key starters, with Poy Erram, Jayson Castro, Mikey Williams, Calvin Oftana and Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser all sidelined. Main import Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has also been ruled out due to injury.

Converge FiberXers came out second best against San Miguel Beermen last time out, losing in a high-scoring 128–122 contest. That result marked their first defeat in the competition, snapping an impressive 3–0 start. 

Notably, the FiberXers boast one of the most efficient offenses in the competition so far, averaging a remarkable 120 points per game across their four outings. Unlike their depleted opponents, the FiberXers have their main scoring options intact for this clash and are well-positioned to bounce back.
