Switzerland will take on the Czech Republic in Group A of the Men’s Ice Hockey at the Winter Olympics on Sunday. This should be a great battle so let's make a prediction on a result.
Switzerland have a win and a loss so far in the group. The loss came against Canada who are arguably the top team in the world with the wealth of the NHL talent at their disposal and the win came over France.
That success was a relatively untroubled one, running out 4-0 winners, losing 5-1 to Canada. They were competitive through that contest, 1-2 down after the opening frame and only conceding one in the middle period.
The Czech Republic are in an identical position to the Swiss heading into this final match. They have a win over France and a loss at the hands of Canada.
They failed to get on the scoreboard against Canada, losing 5-0. They put six past France but let in three at the other end, all in the second period. They will need to be tighter on the blue line against Switzerland.
