Swansea vs Southampton Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Two games to go in the Premier League and four sides are battling it out to avoid the two remaining relegation places. Swansea City lost at Bournemouth on Saturday and with Southampton drawing at Everton, that means the Welsh side slipped into the bottom three on goal difference.  Two home games against Southampton and Stoke City give Swansea the chance to get themselves out of trouble, particularly with Souhampton's last game being at home to champions Manchester City, while Huddersfield who are only three points ahead take on Chelsea and Arsenal. One win should be enough for Swansea to survive and set up that Derby game with Cardiff City next season. Their form is poor though with seven league games without a win and defeats in the last three but only two of those have been at home  They have just one point from their last two home games against Everton and Chelsea but before that had won four in a row. Just one last big push is needed to secure safety but have failed to score in their last three games and managed just two in their last seven.

Southampton climbed out of the bottom three on Saturday and know a win here will all but make them safe due to their superior goal difference. They have managed to get four points from their last two games which is the equal of what they had earned from the last seven. It looked as if they had won their second straight league game on Saturday but were shocked by a 96th minute Everton equalizer that could be so crucial for the Saints. They may have failed to beat Chelsea and missed out on the FA Cup final but you sense this is their real final but a run of one away win in 16 away league games and a single victory in the last ten games makes it  hard to predict they can win this match. A bet on under 2.5 goals looks the one to be on.
