Burnley will hope to get back to winning ways in the Championship before the international break when they travel to Swansea on Saturday for a matchday 38 meeting. This match at the Swansea.com Stadium between the 16th-placed Swans and the third-placed Clarets comes with our prediction of an away win.
With 44 points, Swansea are nine points above the relegation zone, while being 12 points behind the playoff spots. As for Burnley, their tally of 75 points is only two points behind Sheffield United and four points behind leaders Leeds.
Swansea lost 1-0 away at Watford on Wednesday, which was their first defeat in four matches. Yet, the overall picture is grim, as the Swans have been beaten in eight of their last 12 competitive matches.
At home, Swansea won their last two league matches, but three defeats in a row prior to that is a concern.
Burnley could only draw 1-1 at home against West Brom on Tuesday, failing to move into the automatic promotion places. They are still on an unbeaten run since the first week of November, winning 14 and drawing 10 matches.
Even on the road, Burnley won seven and drew four of their last 11 league trips, giving them confidence of picking up another victory here.

Our Swansea vs Burnley Prediction
Burnley lost a golden chance last week to jump over Sheffield United, who dropped points in a draw. The Clarets also dropped points and wouldn’t want to repeat the mistake in their last match before the international break. Facing Swansea could be a blessing, as the hosts have lost their three recent matches against Burnley. Although they have improved in recent weeks, Swansea’s overall form is a concern. Burnley will hope to make the most of it, and that’s why our Swansea vs Burnley prediction is Burnley wins the match.
