Stuttgart vs Osnabruck Prediction & Betting Tips - 2nd Bundesliga

Stuttgart remained in second place in the Bundesliga II after a 2-0 win at Dinamo Dresden. They look for another three points when hosting Osnabruck who are 14th and only two points above the relegation zone. A major problem for Stuttgart this season has been their away form. Winning at Dresden at the weekend was a big result for them just days after that 3-2 win over Hamburg.  Now they return home in the second automatic promotion spot with a  two point lead over Hamburg and five behind the league leaders but from a game more. Stuttgart have the best home form in the league with 11 wins from their 14 games and only 11 goals conceded. Seven of the last eight have been won with at least two goals scored in each of them. The only side not to lose or concede twice were the league leaders.

The away side are in relegation trouble and have only won one of their last 12 league matches. The weekend saw then held to a 2-2 home draw by Regensburg who are also in poor form. Osnabruck did well to get a point though after trailing 2-0 at half time. Two goals from Marcos Alvarez rescued them but they will rue missing a penalty. Onsabruck had gone four games on the road without a win until defeating Greuther Furth who are going through a bad patch at present. They have just one defeat in their last five away league games with three being drawn. That included going to league leaders Arminia Bielefeld and coming away with a point, so a good show is likely in this game if reproducing that form. That looks unlikely though and the tip for this game is Stuttgart to win, leading at both half and full time.
