Stuttgart have been on a good run and will be confident going into their next game in Bundesliga, when they host league leaders Bayern Munich. Going into this game, Stuttgart have managed 17 points and are 15th while Bayern have 37 points at the top of the league standings. Stuttgart are coming from a 2-0 win over Wolfsburg, another pointer to their improving status, that being their first clean sheet in five matches. It was also their third straight undefeated outing and the third time in three matches that they scored twice. They’ve now scored in each of their last four matches and this will be key for them against Bayern Munich who rarely fail to score. Three of their last four matches have produced over 2.5 goals and both teams have scored in three of the four matches as well.
Bayern Munich had to come from behind in their last game, beating Mainz 2-1 at home for their fifth straight win. It was the fourth time in five matches that they scored two goals or more, and four of their last five matches have also seen over 2.5 goals scored.
