Stoke City and Swansea are coming from losing outings and will be gunning for a return to winning ways. The two sides will clash in the 33rd week of Championship action, Swansea placed 17th and Stoke City two places below. We have the match preview and a prediction.

A dismal run in the season has Stoke sitting just three points above the relegation zone. Collecting four points against Oxford United and Hull City painted some optimism in their season.

However, after falling to Cardiff City in the FA Cup, Stoke were beaten 2-0 at Bristol City. That left them with just two wins in 17 league matches. They are unbeaten in the last three at home though.

Swansea City are unbeaten in three matches against Stoke City and will hope this lifts them back to winning ways. The Swans have one win in those three matches against Stoke but come here on a very poor run.

The visitors have won just once in the last nine matches. In this run of nine matches, Luke Williams’ team suffered seven defeats. The latest of them was a 1-0 loss at home to Sheffield Wednesday.

Swansea’s target to bounce back will be hampered by the fact they are a strong attacking outfit. In their last nine matches, they failed to score five times.
