Middlesbrough are 13th in the Championship but have lost their last five league fixtures. They travel to 19th placed Stoke City on Tuesday looking to end their dreadful run. Can Boro get back into winning ways? Read our match prediction below.

Under-fire Boro coach Michael Carrick says "there's a way out" of this run. They may be in the bottom half of the Championship but are still only seven points behind the final promotion play-off position with a game in hand. 

Saturday saw the lose 2-1 at Bristol City, despite taking the lead in that game. That was the fourth time in five games that they have conceded at least twice.

Only one of their last 12 away league fixtures hasn't seen both teams score. Just one of their last nine league games has seen them fail to score.

Stoke City are only five points above the relegation zone. They lost 4-2 at Norwich City on Saturday but are unbeaten in their last four home Championship matches. In their last home league game, they went a goal down to Swansea but won 3-1.
