Stellenbosch will play host to Mamelodi Sundowns in the South African PSL on Wednesday evening. Stellies are fourth in the league standings while the Brazilians are top of the table after eight games. Check out our match prediction below!

Stellenbosch picked up their first win in the CAF Confederation Cup over the weekend, which took them to third in their group and kept them in the hunt for qualification to the knockout round. 

In the PSL, Stellies have been on a very impressive run of form, currently unbeaten in their last seven matches. Their only defeat this term came on opening day against Golden Arrows. 

The hosts are also unbeaten in their last three home league games. However, they have not got the better of their upcoming opponents in their last four meetings in the top flight. 

Meanwhile, Mamelodi Sundowns maintained their unbeaten record in the CAF Champions League last weekend, beating Raja Casablanca 1-0 at home. 

The Brazilians will now return to the PSL where they are on a three-match winning streak. During this run, they scored two or more goals in each match and did not concede in any. 

While the visitors lost their last away league game, that was the first defeat they tasted on the road since September 2022.
