Sporting Lisbon top their Europa League group but could be third by the end of the night. They host PSV who are third in the table two points behind their opponents. In second are LASK Linz, also on seven points and they travel to Rosenborg who are bottom without a single point. Sporting have won both of their home games in this group with a 2-1 win over LASK and a 1-0 victory over Rosenborg. Their final group game is away to LASK, so they face a battle to keep their top spot. The Portuguese side have won five of their last six games in all competitions and four of the last five at home. Europa League form has seen Sporting win three of the four with clean sheets in five of the last eight.

PSV began the season in the Champions League but were knocked out in the qualifying rounds by Basel. They made it through the play-off round to reach the group stages of the Europa League but are struggling to get into the knock-out rounds. PSV had a tough time against LASK, being held by them at home and then losing the away fixture 4-1. They won in the Dutch Eredvisie at the weekend but that ended a run of six games without a win and 16 goals conceded. PSV are third in their domestic league but already 11 points behind leaders Ajax who recently beat them 4-0. Away form is a worry too with three losses in the last four games. Sporting can qualify with a win in this game and that's the tip we're making.
