The top three teams in the Portuguese Primeria League all have ten points from their first four games. Benfica top the table on goal difference ahead of Braga in second and Sporting Lisbon in third place. Braga got their season off to a good start with a 4-2 home win over Nacional. Dyego Sousa scored twice in the first half but Nacional equalized on both occasions but two second-half goals from Ricardo Horta secured a 4-2 home win for Braga. The goals continued to flow with a 3-3 away draw at Santa Clara but Braga led that game 3-0 at half-time. They continued their 100% home record with a 3-1 home win over Aves but had to come from a goal down. Their third win of the season was a 1-0 away win at Chaves to take them into second place. Braga are undefeated in their last nine home league games with only one loss in the last 17 and had a 1-0 home win over Sporting in March of this year.

Sporting are third in the table and have lost only one of their last ten league games and none this season. They had to come from behind to win their opening league fixture 3-1 at Moreiense with two second-half goals from Dutch striker Bas Dost. Nani was in fine form when he scored twice to help Sporting to a 2-1 home win over Vitoria Setubal and he scored again in the 1-1 draw at Benfica with the home side only equalizing with four minutes to go. They got back in winning ways with a 1-0 win over Feirense but the winner came only two minutes from time. Midweek saw them get their Europa League campaign off to a good start with a 2-0 win over Qarabag and the suggested bet here is a double chance one on Sporting to come away from Braga with either a win or a draw
