FC Slutsk are in second place after the first three games of the new Belarus Premier League season. They have won two games so far and aim to make it three when hosting fourth placed Vitebsk. Slutsk are only three points behind leaders Energetik and have won two and lost one so far. Their wins came at home against Slavia Mozyr and at Isloch Minsk. The only loss so far was a 1-0 home defeat by defending league champions Dinamo Brest. It was a tough task getting that win at Isloch though. They led 1-0, trailed 2-1 and got the winner 15 minutes from time. Slutsk only have one loss in their last five home league games.

Vitebsk only just survived relegation last season but are in fourth going into this match. They have six points from their three league games and are only behind their opponents on goal difference. Their season began with a home win over Gorodeja (thanks to a 20th minute own goal) but then lost 2-0 at Neman Grodno. They bounced back with a win at newly-promoted Smolevichi at the weekend. Away form isn’t good though with four losses in the last six. A home win is the tip for this match.
