SK Brann - Rangers: Form Analysis
SK Brann began this season in the Champions League but were beaten by Red Bull Salzburg. Transferred to the Europa League, they had to get wins over Hacken and AEK Larnaca to qualify for this league phase with three of the four games being won.
Their opening game in the league phase saw the Norwegians lose 2-1 at Lille. They got their first win when beating Utrecht 1-0 at home
Brann have only lost two of their last ten home games in European competition. They are third in their domestic league with 29 points from their 12 home league fixtures. Three of their last four home league fixtures have seen both teams score.
Tough task ahead for Danny Rohl.
Rangers begin life under their new coach Danny Rohl. The former Sheffield Wednesday boss wasn't the first choice to take over at Ibrox. He's got the job though and has a massive task on his hands.
His new club are only sixth in the Scottish Premiership and 13 points behind leaders Hearts. Of their eight league games, only one has been won with six draws and a single defeat. They lost in the Champions League qualifying rounds to Club Brugge conceding nine goals.
It's not going well in the Europa League either. They began with a 1-0 home loss to Genk and then they were beaten 2-1 at Sturm Graz.

SK Brann won their last game in this league phase and will be keen to get another victory at home to Rangers. They have several injury problems to contend with that may affect their chances of success.
Among those who are doubtful for this game is Saevar Alli Magnusson. The first couple of league games have seen two goals scored by SK Brann and both came from Magnusson. If he is ruled out, Bard Finne is his likely replacement.
