SK Brann will host BK Hacken in the deciding leg of the third qualifying round in the Europa League on Thursday. The winner of this tie between Bergens stolthet and Getingarna will move on to face either AEK Larnaca or Legia Warsaw in the Playoff round. Let’s get into the match prediction.

SK Brann have the advantage in this tie after securing a 2-0 lead in Sweden last week, thanks to goals in each half by Saevar Atli Magnusson. 

The Red Shirts entered the third qualifying round of this competition after a 5-2 aggregate loss to RB Salzburg in the Champions League. They have not reached the main draw of any European competition since 2007-08. 

The hosts have been in good form at home this season and were on a four-match win streak at Brann Stadion before losing to RB Salzburg here last month. 

Meanwhile, BK Hacken won their first two UEL qualifying rounds with a 3-2 aggregate score over Spartak Trnava before getting by Anderlecht 4-2 via a penalty shootout. 

However, overturning a two-goal deficit here looks like a tall order for the Wasps based on their performance at home last week, when they only managed 44% possession and three shots on target.

The visitors have not been in good shape on the road as of late either, winless in their last three away games while failing to find the net in any of those matches.
