Sheffield United vs Swansea Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Sheffield United were up near the top of the Championship table at one stage last season but a poor run of form saw them finish down in tenth place but only six points off the play-offs. Their last 15 league games saw them win five, draw five and lose five ending hopes of a play-off place. Home form saw 12 wins and six defeats and they only won one of their last five home league games. Pre-season form has been good with no defeats in six games. They have made several summer signings including Brentford captain John Egan for a club record fee. Others joining include Liverpool's Ben Woodburn on loan and striker Ben McGoldrick.

For Swansea City it's a return to the Championship after being relegated last season. That relegation had been threatening to happen for a few seasons and they went down with a bit of a whimper with a string of defeats. It hasn't got any better in pre-season either and Swansea go into this game having lost eight games in a row and haven't tasted victory since March. They had an appalling time on the road in the second half of the season and haven't won an away game this year with no wins in their last 14 matches.  Both Jordan and Andre Ayew are on their way out of the club and there's not much in the transfer kitty so this could be another difficult season for the Welsh side.
