Sheffield United and Burnley are coming from losses and will look to bounce back in the final round of the 2020/21 Premier League season. A 1-0 loss to Newcastle United left Sheffield stuck at 20 points, bottom of the standings while Burnley are 17th on 39 points after the 3-0 loss to Liverpool. Sheffield have been a pale shadow of the side that finished in the top half last season. They are 34 points short of their tally then, and the loss to Newcastle was their 29th this season. The Blades have eight losses and two wins in their last 10 matches and have failed to score in seven of their last 10 league games. At home, they’ve failed to score in four of the last six league games, and have four wins only from 18 matches played.

Burnley were unlucky to lose 3-0 to Liverpool in their last game. They had good openings and controlled most of the second half but failed to make their chances count. They will have to do better against Sheffield United if they want to finish higher than 17th. Their last two matches have served heavy losses; the 4-0 defeat at home against Leeds United was a highlight of the poor home form they’ve had lately. After 10 straight winless matches at home, they will be happy to be playing away in the season ender as they hope for a lift. In the last eight matches, Burnley have lost six, and they’ve conceded two or more goals in each of the losses. They however go to this game with two straight away wins, the most recent, a 2-0 victory against relegated Fulham.
