Sheffield United will be back at home for the first time since losing to Manchester City, this time to host AFC Bournemouth when the Premier League goes to Round 26. Ahead of the game, Sheffield have 36 points and are in sixth place while Bournemouth are 16th with 26 points. Sheffield are coming from two straight wins and having kept clean sheets against Millwall and Crystal Palace, a home game at this point in time is very welcome. They have three clean sheets in the last five matches and four wins in six while they have failed to score in three of 10 matches. Sheffield have not conceded more than a goal in the last six matches and they will look to their home form with hope, having won three of the last five and five of the last nine, with just two losses. Their last six home matches have produced under 2.5 goals in five and they have beaten Bournemouth in four of the last five meetings.

On the other hand, Bournemouth head to this clash with some upturn in fortunes, having won two of their last three matches. Their wins have however come against struggling sides – Brighton, and Aston Villa. Bournemouth have lost three of their last five matches and have no clean sheet in the five matches. Five of their last six matches have produced over 2.5 goals and they have trailed at half time in five of their last eight matches, and went on to lose the five. Apart from beating Brighton and Villa, their other win in the last 10 matches has come against a lower tier side – Luton Town – in the FA Cup. They have registered three straight away losses and failed to score as well. In the last 10 away matches, Bournemouth have one win, two clean sheets and failed to score in seven. They have never beaten Sheffield United.
