Shakhtar Donetsk welcomes Sheriff Tiraspol to the NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium for this final round match in group D. The home team are experiencing one of their worst performances in the group stage of the Champions League and have just one point from their five matches. Sheriff are in third place and are guaranteed their entry into the Europa League. Shakhtar have only been beaten once in their last 10 home matches with that defeat being a 5-0 loss to Real Madrid. Their home record in the Champions league is very poor having won only once in their last 11 matches with five draws and five losses.
