Manchester City begin their bid to finally win the Champions League. The last two seasons have seen them be knocked out by English clubs. The wekend saw them have a few problems as they lost their unbeaten league record to Norwich City. They need to bounce back from that loss and perhaps hell have no fury like a scorned Manchester City. The English champions are just one loss in their last nine Champions League matches with only one defeat (at Spurs) in the last five played on the road.

Shakhtar Donetsk were in the same Champions League group as Manchester City last season. They probably won't be looking forward to playing them again after two poor results against the English side. Donetsk lost 3-0 at home to City and then lost 6-0 away from home. They failed to win any of their home group matches last season with two draws and the loss to City. Go for Manchester City to get the away win in this game.
