Real Madrid are still unbeaten in La Liga as they bid to topple Barcelona as league champions. They have won four and drawn one so far this season. They scored ten goals in their first three league games including two 4-1 wins. Their 100 per cent record went as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Athletic Bilbao having to come from behind to get the point. The weekend saw them beat Espanyol 1-0 to level on points with Barcelona. Throw in a 3-0 home win over Roma in the Champions League. Real Madrid are unbeaten in their last seven league games since losing at Sevilla last season when form dipped a bit as they prepared for the Champions League final.

Sevilla are seventh in the table six points behind Real Madrid. They kicked their season off with a 4-1 win at Rayo Vallecano but then went three league games without a win. Villarreal got a point in Sevilla's opening home league game then they lost 1-0 at Real Betis and lost 2-0 at home to Getafe.  Their last two games have seen a return to form with a 5-1 home win over Standard Liege in the Europa League and then a 6-2 La Liga win at Levante with Ben Yedder scoring a hat-trick following his two against Liege. Sevilla have only won four of their last ten home league games and are yet to score a home league goal this season. Real are the team in form at present and will pose a much stronger threat than Liege and Levante, go for a narrow Real Madrid win here.
