Both of these teams drew 1-1 in the midweek La Liga fixtures. Sevilla are fifth in the table on the same number of points with opponents fourth placed Atletico Madrid. They are both just two points behind league leaders Barcelona. Sevilla drew 1-1 at Valencia on Wednesday evening taking a first-half injury time lead but conceding with just nine minutes remaining. The draw ended a run of two straight league wins over Levante and Getafe without conceding. Home form this season has seen Sevilla win three out of five with seven goals scored and four conceded. Their only home league loss was to Real Madrid. Eight of their 11 league games have had under 2.5 goals scored in them.

Atletico Madrid can beat that though with 10 of their matches seeing under 2.5 goals scored. They also conceded a late goal in midweek and drew 1-1 at Alaves. Atletico are drawing far too many games at present, that was their fifth of the league season and fourth in five games. Considering they are only a couple of points off the top of the table, these draws could prove very costly at the end of the season. On the road, Atletico have won two league games so far and their only loss came at Real Sociedad. Every away game has seen under 2.5 goals scored and that's the tip for this match.
