SD Aucas will be at home to take on Nublense in Group A of the Copa Libertadores this Thursday. Ahead of the encounter, Nublense are third in the group, a point above Aucas in fourth. Aucas will seek a win here to keep their continental season going. The Ecuadorian side comes into this match struggling for form. They have gone four matches now without a win and have lost their last three fixtures. Last time out they lost 2-0 away to Independiente Valle in their domestic league. That result left them in sixth place, two points adrift of the top four. Aucas have also lost their last three matches in this group, including the reverse fixture against Nublense. El Ídolo del Pueblo have been at their best when playing at home. After earlier winning six in a row at home, they are now on a two-match losing run.

Nublense are also struggling but have fared a bit better than Aucas coming into this match. The Chilean side has not won in the last three matches but has at least drawn the last two.
