After Ireland beat Wales on Friday, France are only a point clear at the top of the Six Nations table. Saturday sees them travel to third-placed Scotland and a win with a bonus point will give Les Bleus the title. Read our match prediction below.
France are two wins away from winning the Grand Slam. The defending Six Nations champions have such a massive points difference, that just a win here will all but win them the title. Getting a bonus point though will end everyone's else's title hopes. France will want to continue in the same form that has seen them be so dominant in this year's tournament.
Scotland are in a good position in the Six Nations considering they lost their opening game to Italy. Two wins have followed and there is the possibility of them winning the Triple Crown but they;d love to win the Six Nations title. A loss here will end those hopes but a win would give us a fascinating and potentially thrilling final weekend of this year's Six Nations Championship. Can Scotland end the winning run of France?

Scotland - France: Form Analysis
What has been impressive about France isn't just the fact that they have won all three games so far. It's been the manner in which those wins have been achieved. Each with a bonus point and a points difference of +89 which is far superior than any of their rivals.
Wins have come at home against Ireland and Italy and a big victory away to Wales. After this game, they end the Six Nations with a home match against England. Les Bleus have won their last five matches and so far only conceded 34 points in their three Six Nations victories.
Last year saw France beat Scotland 35-16 in Paris. They arrive in Edinburgh attempting to make it four straight victories over the Scottish national side. Five of their last six games against Scotland have been won.
Scotland are still in contention.
Scotland began this Six Nations with a narrow away loss in Italy. Since that poor start to these championships, they have been in good form with a home win over England to regain the Calcutta Cup.
Their last match was away to Wales and they came from behind in the second half to win by three points. They have to win this match to retain any hope of becoming Six Nations champions and end the tournament with another difficult game away to Ireland.

Scotland & France Squad Analysis
After struggling to beat Wales a fortnight ago, Scotland have totally changed their front row for this game against France. In come Zander Ferguson, Dave Cherry and Nathan McBeth as the Scots try to find a way to counter their impressive opponents.
There’s also a change in the back row with Jack Dempsey replacing Max Williamson. Matt Ferguson has been moved to blind-side flanker. Scotland are only four points behind leaders France but with a vastly inferior points difference.
They will need to win and earn a bonus point (without conceding one) to go top of the table with one match (away to Ireland) to play.
Second row rotated by France.
France are on the verge of retaining their title but begin the match only a single point ahead of Ireland but with this game in hand. Les Bleus have rotated their second row for this match. Out go Emmanuel Meafou and Thibaud Flament to be replaced by Mickael Guillard and Charles Olivon.
There’s also a couple of changes in the centre as France continue their bid to win the Grand Slam. A continuation of their dominant form can give them the title but they will be wary of Scotland at Murrayfield.
Scotland - France Key Points

Our Scotland vs France Prediction
France continue their bid to not just retain the Six Nations title but also win a Grand Slam. They have won their first three matches in this 2026 tournament and achieved a points difference of +89. That's as good as another point and could be crucial.
We may not need to go down to points difference though as France seek to again beat Scotland. They have been so impressive in this tournament and although Scotland will put up a strong fight on home soil, our main Scotland v France prediction is France wins on a -8.5 handicap.
