The Taca de Portugal final will take center stage this weekend as Braga battles it out against Porto on Sunday. Porto relinquished the league title to Benfica this season after finishing two points behind the champions and seven points above Braga in third place. Dragoes did not give up the title without a fight, though, ending the season strongly with nine consecutive wins and unbeaten in their last 12.  They’ve been sensational in this tournament as well, keeping four consecutive clean sheets in their first four matches while scoring 14 in that time. The second leg of the semi-final against Famalicao turned out to be one of the best matches of the season, as Porto clinched victory with two goals in stoppage time after 120 minutes of football. Having already seen their league title change hands, Porto will be determined to keep ahold of the cup this season. 

Braga, on the other hand, will look back at this season as an improvement. They finished the league season 13 points and one place better than they did last season, and a cup victory here would be the cherry on top. Os Arsenalistas ended the league campaign four points above Sporting Lisbon in fourth and with a record of three wins, two draws, and one loss in their final six matches. Braga earned their right to reach the final by overcoming Benfica on penalties back in April before going on to overpower Nacional 7-2 on aggregate in the semi-final. They've fared well against Porto in recent times, winning two and losing two of their last four encounters. Will they be able to snatch the cup away from the defending champions?
