Braga are unbeaten in their last four matches but are coming from two straight draws, a run they will want to improve when they get to host French side Monaco in their round of 16 Europa League clash. In their last game, Braga drew 1-1 with Boavista, the fourth time in five matches that they failed to score more than a goal. To get here, they beat Sheriff on post match penalties after a 2-2 draw on aggregate. A 2-0 away loss to Sheriff is one of the two games in five that they failed to score and each of their last five matches have produced under 2.5 goals. The Portuguese side will bank more on their home form; they are unbeaten in the last four and with three clean sheets. Four of their last five home matches have produced under 2.5 goals and they go into this game unbeaten in the last four in Europa League at home. 

Monaco, on the other hand, are coming from just their first win in five matches. They beat Marseille 1-0 away to end a four game winless run and they will be looking to continue with their good form in Europa League here. In their group matches, Monaco finished unbeaten and top of Group B with 12 points. They have two clean sheets in their last five matches and failed to score in just one of their last five matches. Twice in their last five matches, they’ve conceded two goals and three of those five matches have produced under 2.5 goals. In their three away matches in the Europa League group stages, Monaco managed just one win and drew two, so that’s an area of improvement as they seek first leg advantage. Two of those three away matches produced under 2.5 goals while four of their six group stage matches also had the same outcome.
