Salzburg are on a great run ahead of their home match against Brondby in the UEFA Champions League playoffs. They have won each of their last seven matches and will be very strong favorites here, especially seeing that they are playing at home. Salzburg warmed up for this game with a 1-0 win away to Admira in their domestic league; their second straight clean sheet and third in five matches. They’ve won by one-goal margins in four of their last five matches with three games ending in under 2.5 goals. At home, they have eight wins in the last 10 home matches.

Brondby aren’t doing really well; in their last seven matches, they have no win. The visitors are coming from a 1-0 loss to Nordsjælland in the Danish league. That was their second straight loss after a 4-2 defeat to FC Copenhagen and while they are winless in seven, the five matches before the Copenhagen loss all ended in draws. In their last 10 matches, Brondby have one clean sheet but only twice have they conceded more than one in that run. Five of their last seven matches have produced under 2.5 goals.
