Roma took the lead in the first leg of this Champions League tie but two second-half goals gave Shakhtar a 2-1 home win. That's not a  bad result for the Italian side who will fancy their chances of making it into the last eight where they could end up taking on Juventus. Roma are third in Serie A but twelve points behind the top two, Home form for the Italians has been a little bit patchy at times this season with five league defeats and three of those have happened this year. Form in the Champions League has seen only Real Madrid and Porto win at Roma in the last eight games. In the group stages this season they won two and drawn one without conceding a goal, good form considering their opponents included Chelsea, who they beat 3-0 and Atletico Madrid who they fought out a goalless draw with. Shakhtar top the Ukranian table at present and have won their last six league and cup games. The worry for them is their away form in Europe and the fact Roma have an away goal. Shakhtar have lost six of their last seven away games in the Champions League and failed to score in six of them. This season has seen them lose 2-0 at Manchester City and 3-0 at Napoli while beating Feyenoord 2-1 after trailing early on. Roma can turn this tie around and get the home win that will take them into the last eight and be one of the sides the big boys definitely want to draw,
