FC Porto have been dethroned as champions of Portugal and can only play for a second placed finish in their final two league matches. They are set to travel to Vila do Conde to take on Rio Ave in the penultimate round of matches. Rio Ave go to this game placed 15th, with 31 points while Porto, in second have 74 points. The hosts are in a place above the relegation playoff and one win in their remaining two matches should save them from automatic relegation. Porto need a win to secure second place, as a consolation for the season.
