Red Star Belgrade turned on the style to thump Kazakhstani side Kairat Almaty 5-0 in the return leg of the second qualifying round of the Champions League after a 2-1 away loss. They are now set to host the first leg of their third qualifying round against Sheriff Alashkert and go into the game on a three-game winning streak. Ahead of this game, they thumped Spartak Subotica 3-1 in their domestic league and have now scored in each of their last four matches, a total of 10 goals. Red Star Belgrade have three clean sheets in their last five matches and Mirko Ivanic has now scored in each of their last three matches, which makes him a key player going to this game.
