It's an important week for La Liga leaders Barcelona with two big matches to play. Firstly they travel to fourth placed Real Sociedad and then in midweek host Real Madrid, currently second in the table. A couple of wins would take them a few steps closer to retaining their league title. Tuesday saw Barcelona win away at Inter in the Champions League, making it seven straight wins. They have only lost one of their 16 league and cup fixtures but still only lead Real Madrid on goal difference. Away league form has seen them lose to Athletic Bilbao, Granada and Levante but four of the last five have been won.
Real Sociedad are having a good season and presently sit in fourth place in the league. They trail Barcelona by seven points but are battling hard to get into the Champions League next season. Sociedad have won four of their seven home league games this season. There have been two defeats though with losses to both Getafe and Levante. They have won two of their last four home league games but they were both against sides in the bottom half of the table. Only one of their last four league games have been won and the confident tip here is for an away victory.
